Camp Tamarack, Fresh air Society of Detroit & Outpost Camp

Filmed in ten weeks in 1981 this documentary tells the story of one idyllic summer, in the words of the campers and staff of Camp Tamarack near Brighton, and Camp Maas, near Ortonville, Michigan, paring eight weeks at two facilities down to 18 minutes.

Filmed in the summer of 1971, Outpost shows 16 year-old city kids learn to live in the wilderness north of Wawa, Ontario. This was filmed one year before the camp went co-ed.
